This page will guide you through the process of setting up an Email account on your computer.
Although you can use any POP3 or IMAP compatible email client, this guide is for Outlook Express.
There is a screen shot for each step (10 total) from an English version of Outlook Express. If you have a different version installed, you should still be able to find your way as the dialogs will look more-or-less the same.
To start with, you will need to know the following information:
Step 1:
After starting Outlook Express, select "Tools" then "Accounts" from the menu of the main window. You will see the following screen:

Click "Add" -> "Mail" as shows in the picture.
Step 2:
A new dialog pops up. Enter your name and click Next.
This name will appear on every email you send.

Step 3:
Now you are asked to enter your full email address as shown on the picture. Replace the highlited "user" (in blue) with your assigned username. Click Next.

Step 4:
This step asks for your incoming and outgoing mail servers. Enter "lugosoft.com" in both fields as shown below. Select POP3 in the box on the top if it says otherwise. Click Next.

Step 5:
Here you will enter your password. The username should be already preset for you, verify that is is your assigned username. You may want to check "Remember password" if this is your home computer and you do not want to be asked for your mail password every time you send or receive mail. Do not check "Log on using ... SPA"! Click Next.

Step 6:
That's easy... just click Finish and you will end up in the Account List dialog.

Step 7:
Final modifications... in the dialos shown below, select the account you have just created in the list (if not already selected) and click "Properties".

Step 8:
You will be presented with the account properties dialog. The first tab should be fine as it is... (Your Name will show the name you entered)

Step 9:
On the second tab (Servers) check the "My server requires authentication" checkbox under "Outgoing Mail Server". Click Settings...

Step 10:
Final Step! Verify that the settings are as shown below... You may also enter your username and password once again in the respective boxes below if you really want to.

You should be all set now. More info on how to use Outlook Express for email is not included here... but you should be able to get it to work now :-).
